Matavia Solutions is a consultancy business owned and managed by Rachel Whiting. Matavia Solutions draws on Rachel’s extensive experience as Chief Executive Officer for a not-for-profit offering business start-up and development assistance where her role encompassed both operational and strategic objectives.

 

Matavia Solutions has delivered Arts Consultancy services to other companies, government and community organisations. Projects  delivered Include the Education Program at the Cossack Art Award and a WA state government Percent for Art contract coordinating local artists to deliver a series of themed work for the new Karratha High School Library and Administration Block.Matavia Solutions can offer skills that have led to greater organizational capacity and financial security for the businesses and communities Rachel has worked with.

Uses and creates networking events to further sustainable business relationships.

 

Project Management: Identifies needs and follows through on deliverables in the management of projects.  Strong evidence of a big picture focus with attention to detail. Extensive experience in design, implementation, marketing and management of events as well as larger projects, research and analysis. Successfully ran a large ‘Women in Business’ network for 4 years with 6 events per annum.

 

Community Affairs and Public Relations: Extensive experience in ‘helping others’ to obtain their objectives. Strong understanding of groups making up a business organization both as members and non-members and the importance of other stakeholder groups in the LGA and beyond. Competent in Photoshop and writing Media Releases and promotions. Experienced in writing for local and national publications on a regular basis including e-newsletters, newspapers and magazines.

 

Administration Skills: Experienced in management of office infrastructure including strata management. Experienced in database, website and social media management. Experienced in finance and budget management, regular reporting and competent in all Microsoft office applications.
