Wien Dame K (Winterkoenig / Chicago Peace xx) has bred many wonderful foals and is the Dam of Wilara Grafix and full sister to Matavia Gwyneviere’s Dam, Kinnordy Windstille.  Vee has had two lovely foals for us over the last two years.  The first Matavia Gwydir (Gymnastik Star) is a rising two year old and looking to set the dressage or eventing world on fire, and the second Matavia Freemantle (Fishermans Friend), has just been sold to Dr James Gaite of the Philippines.  Vee is being bred to Lauries As (imp) this year.

Remi Dreamtime (Daktylus/Rose O'Capri xx) DOB 18.10.92 has been purchased by Matavia Performance Horses after a search for a quality Daktylus mare for some time.  Daktylus (Diskus/Abstatz) grey 1979, with his near unlimited jumping ability and elegant type, modern before his time, was imported by Kinnordy Stud.  He died prematurely and hence, did not get to make as much of a mark on the performance horse industry as was his potential. However, he left a legacy of successful competition horses  – Destiny, Domingo (Australian winner in dressage and eventing), the Grand Prix and World Cup showjumper D’Artagnan - and Daley K (most successful showjumper and sire of many winning competition horses like Warlord II) and valuable broodmares who have winning progeny in all disciplines.

Remi Dreamtime is therefore part of our plan to breed showjumping and eventing horses for Australian and International competitors.

Remi Dreamtime has had her filly foal to German Frozen Semen sire Rubin Magic.

Matavia Paparazzo xx (Press Card (USA) xx / Palace Music (USA) xx) DOB 06.10.03 was chosen for her natural athleticism and all round good movement with a spectacular trot for a thoroughbred.  Paparazzo's Dam. Topiarius is by proven broodmare sire Palace Music (USA) xx who was the sire of 26 stakewinners and had himself 59 stakeswins. 

Paparazzo has siblings who have succeeded as sport horses including Press Go xx who was purchased as a competitive eventer. She has competed C grade EFA showjumping and competed elementary dressage. In the 2008 Magic Millions Auctions on the Gold Coast, Paparazzo's 1/2 brother from dam Topiarius xx was sold to Singapore as the highest priced Markane 2yo for $35,000 AUD.

Paparazzo's first foal, Matavia Cheval by German Showjumping sensation Champion FP (Champion Du Lys/For Pleasure) not only shows her ability to breed with Frozen Semen, but also her ability to put together an outstanding foal, especially as a maiden mare.  We have repeated this breeding with Paparazzo in foal again to Champion FP.  This has resulted in another lovely colt, Matavia Champs Elysees.

Matavia Gwyneviere (Gymnastik Star/ Kinnordy Windstille / Winterkoenig) showed amazing ability under saddle. Gwynie has rising 3yo filly by Fishermans Friend (Matavia Filigree) that will join our broodmare herd next year and a yearling filly by Worldly, Matavia World Games now owned by Melanie Boot.

Wilara Grafix (Graf Landau / Wien Dame K / Winterkoenig) has fabulous proven jumping and dressage bloodlines. A seasoned performance mare herself, Grafix has a new foal on the ground by Worldly (see right).

Remi Waikerie (Winterkoenig / Remi Daylight Saving / Daktylus) at Hunter Valley foal branding 2005 handled by Adrian Whiting, being inspected by Dr Wilkens, breeding manager of the Hanoverian Verband for 24 years and far left as a younger mare at her classification.

Waikerie's foal by Gymnastik Star, Matavia Gwydenn has just been sold to David and Joanne Stollery of the NSW Central Coast and we look forward to seeing them competing soon. Waikerie is a lovely large upstanding mare. Her first foal Matavia Gwydenn showed Waikerie’s ability to pass on her Dam Sire’s (Daktylus) fabulous dishy head and petite features on a strong boned body.

Congratulations to Louise Cairns of Opal Park Warmbloods for her purchase of Waikerie.
